Trinity VIII

August 9, 2019 by Peter Jackson

Our Friday evening meeting on the beach, A-Prayer-atif, continues to attract a good crowd. There’s a loyal, core group but every week brings fresh faces.

Notable is the diversity of those who come. By no means everyone has English as a first language and our age, religious affiliation and nationalities vary.

It’s a very sociable and accessible time – literally as we gather on the handiplage – but it’s also a time of prayer. For about ten minutes, half way through our time together, we form a circle and individually offer a simple prayer of thanksgiving.

If you haven’t been, do try to come.  I’m delighted to say that members of St Hugh’s, as well as those living in Nice have been coming.
