TAKING PART IN SUNDAY’S EUCHARIST FROM HOME
LENT V, MARCH 29
REMEMBER THAT CLOCKS GO FORWARD THIS WEEKEND.
Join us (on your computer) for church this Sunday!
Over 600 followed last Sunday’s broadcast service and over 300 watched.
Holy Trinity Nice will again stream Sunday’s Eucharist at 11 am (Central European Time) on Facebook. You can find the service by clicking on this link https://www.facebook.com/pg/HolyTrinityNice/videos/ The live stream will appear at the top of the page. You may need to turn the volume up on your computer or other device. The service will be posted on Facebook afterward. (After the broadcast, the service will continue to be available.).
For the service sheet, which you can print or read online, click Lent V service sheet. Please join in with the responses.
The sermon will also be available to download on Sunday morning before the service is broadcast.
Click sermon to access the webpage where the file can be downloaded. If you are having any problem hearing, please follow the text. I don’t normally read my sermons but I shall on Sunday.
We are looking into how we might have a virtual coffee hour in future weeks, but again, after the service, let’s each pour ourselves a coffee or a glass of rosé, think of one another and be thankful for community.
We have set up a phone chain, which is working well. If you’d like to join, please send an affirmative response, with your preferred phone (or WhatsApp) to peterjejackson@aol.com.

NEWS
Jill Pirdas sent me an update about the work of her brother’s charity Arogya Agam and the difficulties facing young women who are HIV positive and approaching marriageable age.

“The photo is of Kanishka, she is 18 and HIV positive. Soon she will have to marry. Arogya Agam the project that Holy Trinity and St. Hugh’s support in South India, will give her counselling on how to disclose this fact to her future husband. It is a real worry for young people living with HIV. The project provides group meetings where young people can meet up, make friends and ask questions whilst learning how to cope with discrimination and other issues.”
To donate to the charity, go to http://goto.gg/34683 . A bonus applies if you give now. Since there won’t be a Curry Lunch this month to support the charity, any donations will be very welcome.
