Support

Letter from the Chaplain about supporting Holy Trinity – Pledge Drive 2022

Holy Trinity is home for Anglicans and English-speaking Christians from all over the world who live in or visit Nice and the surrounding area. We are a vibrant faith community which worships together each Sunday.

In addition to worship, we enjoy socializing with one another – and we look after one another in times of need. We meet each Sunday after the Eucharist for social hour over tea, coffee, or rosé. We enjoy meeting for various activities that enhance our community life, including Aprayeratif, film nights, study groups, and meals. Our corporate life is extending as we use Zoom and social media to reach our friends around the globe. We offer the hand of friendship to newcomers, whether visitors or newly arrived members of the community. And we offer support to those who are housebound or in hospital.

For many people Holy Trinity is a focal point in their life in France.

Our community began in 1821 and moved into our church over 150 years ago. The church building was made possible by generous gifts from members, and it has been well-maintained by subsequent generations. It is now our turn. We look forward to celebrating 200 years BUT for that to happen we need your ideas, your time, and your financial help. Please let us know how you can help our community thrive. Simply respond by completing and returning a pledge form (see below).

Yours in Christ,

Fr Peter Jackson

Pledge Form

Pledge Drive 2022 forms are available in church but download one here if that is more convenient.  Once completed, please return yours to the Treasurer, holytrinitynicefrance@gmail.com

Staying in touch

Please stay in touch with life at Holy Trinity by subscribing to the weekly Newsletter. Simply email Fr Peter, peterjejackson@aol.com and he will include you in the mailing, which goes to friends of Holy Trinity all over the world.

In this time of pandemic, it’s wonderful that we can so easily stay in touch. The Newsletter will tell you how to join a Study Group, Film Night and other activities online, as well as news about what’s happening at Holy Trinity.

Giving

Another way of supporting Holy trinity is to use  PayPal or Credit/Debit Card. Click here.

Or, send a cheque to The Treasurer, 11 rue de la Buffa, 06000 Nice.

  • Euro cheques should be made payable to ‘Holy Trinity Nice, Eglise Anglicane’
  • Sterling cheques should be made payable to ‘Diocese in Europe’ (the diocese keeps separate chaplaincy accounts within an umbrella account)

Please also consider standing orders (in euros or pounds).  For details contact the Treasurer, Gerard Jordan, holytrinitynicefrance@gmail.com
