Holy Trinity Nice is the Anglican parish in Nice, France’s fifth largest city. Our services are in English, though some readings and prayers are in French. Our community is made up of those who are permanently resident, those who are here for part of the year and those who are visiting on holiday or for business. English is the first language of many at Holy Trinity but French is the mother tongue of a significant number. We see ourselves as a gathering place for people from different birthplaces, cultures and traditions.
We are a parish within the Church of England Diocese of Gibraltar in Europe but we include members of the Episcopal Church of the USA (ECUSA) and we are listed in its directory of parishes. During the year, choirs and parish groups from other parts of the Anglican Communion visit.
We are a true Christian meeting place.
Before the pandemic our church was open every day during daylight hours to welcome those wanting somewhere to pray or simply to visit. We hope to resume daylight opening later this summer. We will post revised times once this is possible.
